Bob Dannenhold | Collegeology | Seattle, WA

Bob is an educational advisor and independent advisor in the Seattle area. One of his areas of expertise is assisting students with learning disabilities in college selection and transition. Assisting veterans in their educational pursuits is a passion of his. HECA President,  2006, 2007.

Cyndy McDonald | McDonald & Associates | Visalia, CA

Cyndy works with students in central California.  Working with first generation students in the college planning and selection process, and informing families about college affordability are all a focus of her work. She is one of the founders of HECA and founding HECA President. Cyndy has held leadership roles in NACAC, WACAC, NCAG and other organizations.


Claire Nold-Glaser | College Planning Help | Bellevue, WA

Claire's experience includes working with adolescents: counseling students in the school setting for 15 years at both public and private high schools and in 2002, as an independent counselor. Claire sees students as individuals, helping them understand options, make good choices and complete the application process successfully.  Claire has held leadership positions in HECA, NACAC and PNACAC. She is president elect for PNACAC.


Kazue McGregor | Exploring College Choices | Los Angeles, CA

Kazue is a Certified Educational Planner and has been advising students as an independent counselor since 2011.  After a full career as an active teacher and performer, Kazue works with students from all backgrounds with a focus in the performing arts and those from multicultural backgrounds. Kazue has held several leadership roles in HECA including past Director, Professional Development and Conference Oversight (2021).
