HECA Conference 2012 Registration Details
IMPORTANT HOUSING UPDATE:
As we predicted, this year's annual conference will be our most popular ever! The headquarters hotel, Hamilton Park is already sold out for Sunday, Monday, June 18 and Tuesday, June 19. There are still plenty of rooms for Wednesday and Thursday nights.
We want to make it as easy as possible for everyone who wants to attend to have a room at a nearby hotel, and to also have convenient and free transportation back and forth. Rooms are currently available at the Ramada East Hanover, a comfortable hotel that is a 15 minute FREE shuttle from Hamilton Park. A FREE hot breakfast (bacon & eggs, pancakes) is included in the price

HECA has now contracted a rate of $79 for a single or double at the Ramada. The only way to make a reservation is to call the hotel at 973-388-5622 and ask for the HECA rate. This is a refundable rate up to June 10. No other discounts, such as AAA, will apply.
If you have any issues, please let us know by emailing: richardporth@optimum.net. There are other hotels in the area, but we are trying to bundle at the Best Western Plus to facilitate easy and convenient transfers to Hamilton Park.
We will post additional information on this web page if/as the housing situation changes, so please be sure to check often. Our goal is to provide up to date information that makes the process easy for you.
Conference Pricing & Registration
Conference 2012 includes the welcome reception, sessions, meetings and the HECA Social June 18 - 20. The Conference fee does not include: Housing, Pre-Conference Events or Post-Conference Tours. You must register for Pre- and Post-Conference events separately from your Conference registration.
UPDATE We are thrilled that more than 200 HECA consultants will be attending the HECA 2012 conference. However, we have reached the maximum capacity for the space where FDU is hosting their dinner for us on Wednesday, June 20. We are sorry that we can't include conference attendees registering after April 17 in this Wednesday night event. You are very welcome to attend the HECA Social scheduled for later that evening.

Early Bird Rate (Register by March 31): $395
Regular Rate (After March 31): $445
Non-Members: $495 (Join HECA and save!)
HECA Members: to receive the Conference member discount, you must register using the same email that you use to sign into your HECA member account. When prompted during registration, log into your account. The system will not recognize you as a member otherwise. Click here to renew your HECA membership for 2012.
Pre-Conference Events Pricing & Registration
If you wish to attend a Pre-Conference Event (Pre-Conference Hudson Valley College Tours OR the Pre-Conference Workshop with Peter Van Buskirk and Francine Block), you must register for that event separately. These events are not included in your main Conference registration.
You may choose one of the following:
OPTION 1: Pre-Conference Hudson Valley College Tour (June 18) - Limited to first 50 registrants. Participants must first register for the conference in order to register for this tour.
Price: $65 Note: The Pre-Conference Tour fee does not include housing. You must book accommodations separately. This event does not have a member discount.

Post-Conference Tour Pricing & Registration
If you wish to attend the
Post-Conference Tour Hidden Gems & Shining Stars of New York and New Jersey, you must register for that separately. This tour is
not included in your main Conference registration.
Post-Conference College Tours (Hidden Gems & Shining Stars (June 21-22) Limited to first 50 registrants. Participants must first register for the conference in order to register for this tour.
Price: $125 Note: The Post-Conference Tour fee does not include housing. You must book accommodations separately. This event does not have a member discount.

Our gracious hosts have asked us to limit our tour groups. Thank you for your understanding. When these tours reach capacity, detailed information about planning self-guided tours of several New York City schools will be provided. The schools listed below are not in tour order. When you register for the post-conference tour more details will be provided about those tour days. ***Please check back for suggested self-guided itineraries for NYC schools, which will be posted shortly. |
Refund Policy
Due to strict room quotas required by the Hamilton Park Conference Center, we must abide by the following refund policy for all conference registration fees:
Before March 15 - 100% refund minus $20 cancellation fee;
March 16 - April 15 - 80% refund;
April 16 - April 30 - 50% refund;
May 1 - May 15 - 25% refund; After May 15 - no refund.
