The Cyndy McDonald Scholarship For Professional Development

The Cyndy McDonald Scholarship for Professional Development was established in 2009 to honor our founder. Since 1997 when HECA began, Cyndy has served on the Board of Directors, mentored countless new consultants, and chaired numerous HECA conferences.

Kit Prager, an early Board member, writes, "HECA truly exists because of Cyndy's perserverance, determination and grit. We all benefited from her vision. I've never known anyone who worked so tirelessly for the benefit of our profession."

The Cyndy McDonald Scholarship for Professional Development will be awarded in confidentiality and cover the Early Bird registration fee for one HECA member at our annual conference.  Eligibility requirements:

• Are you a current HECA member?
• Do you need financial assistance to attend the HECA annual Conference?
• Have you served as a volunteer for HECA? (Members with a history of service to HECA will receive priority.)

2012 Conference Application Deadline:  March 15, 2012

The Scholarship Committee will notify applicants of their decision before April 15th, in time for the Early Bird registration deadline.
