Purpose of HECA
Ensure Ethics and Standards:
To further the goal of advancing ethical and professional
standards, HECA members adhere to four core values:

Provide Professional Networking:
HECA facilitates networking among members to encourage
mentorship relationships for those new to the profession. Members
work together to strengthen and promote the professionalism
of educational consulting.

Offer Professional Development:
Professional development via conferences is an important
focus of the Association. A conference with popular features,
such as a college tour, client case studies and knowledge exchanges,
is held annually.

Promote Public Awareness of Educational Consulting:
HECA's goal is to maintain an active program of positively
representing the independent educational consultant professional
in the media.
