Advertising size: 175 x 250 pixels (see size example to the left).
Artwork: All artwork must be provided in color JPEG format, pre-sized to specifications. HECA does not provide design services. Artwork that must be resized by HECA will incur an additional service fee of $150.
Advertising schedule: Ad space may be purchased in 3, 6, 9 and 12-month increments for the member section, or 3, 6, 9 and 12-issue increments for the newsletter. Minimum purchase is three months or three issues. Advertisement may only be changed at the beginning of a three month increment (i.e., no monthly changes).
Ad placement: For ads in the member section of the website, advertisers may request placement on specific pages in the member section. Every effort will be made to accommodate these requests, but placement is not guaranteed. Newsletter ads will be placed according to space availability in each issue.
Payment: Payment must be made at the time an order is placed. At present, we only accept payment by credit card. Advertising Rates
Please note: HECA reserves the right to reject advertisers and advertisements that are not good matches for our organization's mission and Standards and Ethics policy. When an organization places their first advertising order, they will be asked to provide additional information to help us evaluate their request. If an advertiser or advertisement is deemed an inappropriate match, a full refund will be given.
Advertising Deadlines
Member section ads: Advertising purchase begins on the first of the month after payment is received. Advertising order must be placed by the 1st of the month prior to the ad starting month. Art must be received by the 20th of the month prior to start date.
Example: Ad placement month begins October 1, advertising order must be placed no later than September 1, artwork must be received by September 20.
HECA Newsletter ads: Newsletter advertising purchase begins in the first issue indicated on the advertising order form. Ads run sequentially, i.e., if you purchase a three-month advertising term to start in the April issue, your ad will run in the April, May, and July issues.
